Being on a working farm Hele Payne guests
have a lot to see during their stay and are welcome to join in
the farm activities, wander around the winding lanes and enjoy
watching the baby lambs running to play in the spring or maybe
even bottle feed one! Coarse and game fishing are available in the farm river (River Culm)Situated in the Culm Valley in beautiful
Devon, there are an abundance of interesting attractions within
easy reach, for instance Killerton House (National Trust) with
its famous gardens is only a few miles away. The local amenities
including a Devon pub, post office and grocery shop are only 1
mile distant.
General Information
Local bus services operate with a stop only 300 yds from the farm
gate and there is a ample car parking available at the farm. There
is a shared laundry room available which has two washing machines,
and a tumble drier. We request that no pets are brought to our
cottages. Bed linen and towels are provided (but not beach towels)
for use during your stay and a cot and highchair are available
for use by young children.
